To further empower and uplift women business owners in southeastern North Carolina, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to introduce the Women Business Owners Council. The vision of this council is to foster an inclusive community that empowers, educates, and propels women entrepreneurs forward. Our goal is to create programs that offer valuable learning opportunities and encourage the exchange of expertise among women business owners. By addressing the unique challenges faced by women in business, we aim to advance female entrepreneurs and stimulate economic growth.

Having spent a significant portion of her career at Nordstrom, she is best known for her keen ability to unlock the full potential of a company's greatest assets—its people. Amy's leadership style is collaborative and people-centric, she believes in finding the strengths of individuals to drive organizational success for the businesses she supports.
Amy is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional and Certified Professional Coach, working with businesses and individuals to foster professional development through leadership and coaching. Her emphasis on relationships has left a lasting impact on those she has led and coached throughout the years.
Membership in this council is exclusively open to women business owners who are current members of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. Invitations will be extended upon completion of the interest questionnaire. There is no additional cost to participate.
