The Butcher's Market opened in March and the team is excited to finally celebrate their first Wilmington location and future expansion plans in the area! 

The Butcher's Market was started by father and son duo, Craig and Derek Wilkins, 13 years ago in Wake County. Their primary focus is to offer quality products at a fair price and deliver it with unmatched hospitality in a convenient and fun shopping environment. They have taken it upon themselves to build a reputation in the Triangle as the go-to butcher shop for premium meats and specialty groceries. Smith Prevost partnered with the Wilkins family to expand into the Wilmington market with the same values that they instilled in our entire team.

They sell Prime, Top Choice, Dry Aged, and Wagyu Beef, North Carolina Heritage Farms Cheshire Pork, Local NC Seafood, exotics (elk, bison, kangaroo, gator, crawfish etc) house smoked/cured bacon and sausage, and let's not forget about the legendary house marinated steak tips and chicken. They offer an array of homemade sides from marinated veggies to bacon mac and cheese- to pair with your proteins - for a "Dinner Done Easy". They strive to fill the store with local NC/Wilmington products and put an emphasis on NC goods whether it's craft beer, salsas, rubs, sauces, and more.
