Welcome to the Supply Chain & Logistics Council of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce!
The Supply Chain & Logistics industry is a vital pillar of the Southeastern North Carolina (SENC) economy, a fact reinforced by recent workforce studies conducted in 2020 and 2023, along with findings from the New Hanover County Economic Mobility Report adopted in 2022. These assessments underscore the sector's robust growth trajectory and its crucial role in driving economic prosperity across the region.
Led by co-chairs including Brian Clark from the North Carolina State Ports Authority, Michael Braddock from Frontier Scientific Solutions, Laurie King from NFI Industries (formerly MCO Transport), and Shawn Synnestvedt from Confluent Logistics, the Supply Chain & Logistics Council is poised to drive innovation and collaboration within the region.
Mark your calendars for our inaugural meeting on May 22nd, hosted from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Venue managed by Wilmington Brewing Company. Subsequent gatherings are scheduled quarterly, in October, January, and April 2025, featuring dedicated time for networking, engaging content, and sponsor remarks.
Our Supply Chain & Logistics Council plans to convene a diverse array of stakeholders, including port personnel, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shippers, 3PLs, carriers, chassis providers, investment & insurance providers, fostering cross-sectoral dialogue and cooperation.
