Event Description:
Most business owners, whether large or small, prioritize identifying new markets and customers. This event aims to equip company leaders with practical tools, best practices, and insights to create or enhance strategies for penetrating new markets, acquiring new customers, and boosting brand recognition.
The program will provide an overview of the tools offered by the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) in collaboration with the Small Business Administration. These tools are designed to assist businesses in expanding their reach to international markets, buyers, and sales agents. The content will also cover the EDPNC's STEP Program, a grant program that provides businesses with fewer than 500 employees the chance to compete for grant funding to help with travel expenses associated with exhibiting at qualifying tradeshows, booth costs, website localization, e-commerce fees, and other export marketing-related media.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from a panel of business leaders in the Wilmington market who will share their insights on reaching new customers, building and managing effective vendor networks, implementing online engagement opportunities, and creating targeted media for their audiences.
