The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites all members in good standing to attend our upcoming Public Policy Committee Meeting on Tuesday, June 24, from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.
This month, we’re pleased to welcome two distinguished guest speakers:
· Steven Still, Director of New Hanover County Emergency Management. His department coordinates emergency response efforts among federal, state, and local governments. The team maintains ongoing communication with emergency operations in Raleigh and Washington, D.C., to ensure seamless coordination with local authorities.
· Mitch Dennis, MPA Fellow with New Hanover County Emergency Management, supporting key initiatives and planning efforts.
With hurricane season approaching, this timely presentation will highlight the county’s preparedness strategies and outline how business leaders can play a proactive role in emergency response.
The session will be offered both in-person and virtually for your convenience. Please note, this event is exclusive to current Wilmington Chamber members in good standing.
We hope you’ll join us for this important discussion as we continue to engage with critical policy issues and advocate for a resilient, competitive regional economy.
We look forward to your participation.
