Principal for a Day

In our effort to support continuous improvement of the development of our future workforce, we are again embarking upon a partnership with New Hanover County Schools. This particular program is to provide business and other leaders in our community with an opportunity to shadow a principal for the day on March 19, 2026. All participants will be asked to arrive at the school on that morning when the principal does. They will follow the principal and participate in the things that principal does during the morning. All participants will then gather at the Board of Education building to review what we’ve learned. Afternoon snacks will be provided. The purpose is to better educate those of us who don’t work in one of our schools and to highlight ways the business community can better support our school leaders.
