The vision of the Latin American Business Council is to foster the economic growth and development of the Latin American business community in the Cape Fear Region. We are building a multicultural coalition that celebrates the diversity of the Latino community and builds professional leadership through increased access to business and education resources, the establishment of multilingual platforms, and advocacy through public policy.

Innovative and effective practices to secure capital for your business.

Carlos Zepeda is a Sr. Small Business Consultant, and he will share best practices and research strategies to find and secure capital for your small business. He will explain current forms of capital and how to gain the trust of the funding entities by describing your ability and the strength of your business expertly. He will share how to prepare a capability statement, pertinent certifications, different forms of capital available to small business (regardless of the stage of development) and how to continue nurturing the relationship with the financial institution.

Carlos is an experienced business and strategic development professional with nearly two decades of experience as an advisor to small business owners and international commercial and nonprofit entrepreneurs. He has helped businesses secure more than $10 million dollars and is able to offer technical aid in both English and Spanish. Since 2019, he has been part of the Prospera consulting team in North Carolina. Since then, he has helped more than two hundred business in different corners of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Carlos has a bachelor’s degree in French and International Relations from Florida International University and has completed doctorate level academic training in entrepreneurship. He enjoys guiding new communities of multicultural entrepreneurs to share their creativity and contribute to the economies where they work.
