The Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Career and Leadership Development Academy District-Wide Showcase, an evening of celebration and recognition for the industry partners, educators, and students who have made this year’s program a tremendous success.

This year the Academy significantly expanded, offering ALL New Hanover County Schools 7th graders, along with selected 8th and 9th graders, the opportunity to participate in immersive, hands-on career experiences. Thanks to the generosity of our industry partners, students explored career pathways, developed leadership skills, and connected with future job opportunities. We’re cultivating our Talent Pipeline together!

Agenda:
✨ Recognition of Industry Partners who opened their doors to inspire the next generation
🏆 Student Showcase, featuring the top student project winners from across the district
🍽️ Food, drinks, and networking with business leaders, educators, and community partners
🎤 Special remarks highlighting the impact of career exploration on our region’s talent pipeline
